Deleting Cookies & Temp Files

If you are having trouble logging into Online Banking try deleting Cookies and Temporary Internet Files. These are small files stored on your computer that save website data such as page layouts and log in information. Deleting them forces your computer to send and receive fresh information from our systems.

Select your browser to get started.

Internet Explorer browser icon

Internet Explorer

Step 1: Click the “Tools” icon. It appears as a small gear.

Step 2: Select “Internet Options” from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Under the section labeled “Browsing history,” click the button that says “Delete.”

Step 4: Check all of the boxes as they are in the following image then click the “Delete” button.
(Do NOT check the top box that says “Preserve Favorites website data”)

Step 5: Close all windows, and attempt to log in again.


FireFox

Step 1: Click the “Menu” icon. It appears as three horizontal lines.

Step 2: Select the “Options” icon from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Select the section labeled “Privacy” on the left hand side.

Step 4: Under “History” click the link that says “clear your recent history.”

Step 5: Select “Everything” from the dropdown menu then check all of the boxes below.

Step 6: Click the “Clear Now” button.

Step 7: Close all windows, and attempt to log in again.


Chrome

Step 1: Click the “Menu” icon. It appears as three dots.

Step 2: Select the “Settings” option from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Scroll all the way down to the bottom and click “Advanced.”

Step 4: Under the “Privacy and security sections” click the arrow next to “Clear browsing data”

Step 5: Select “the beginning of time” from the drop down menu, and check all of the boxes below it.

Step 6: Click the button labeled “Clear browsing data.”

Step 7: Close all windows, and attempt to log in again.


iPhone

Before you begin, make sure you are opening www.allegentfcu.org in Safari. Do not try to use a search utility, such as Google, as it may not support all site features.

Step 1: Find and select the “Settings” icon.

Step 2: Scroll down, and select “Safari” from the Settings menu.

Step 3: Select the option labeled “Clear History and Website Data.”

Step 4: Confirm by pressing the button labeled “Clear History and Data.”

Chrome on Android

Step 1: Open the app menu that appears as three dots in the upper right hand corner, and select “Settings.”

Step 2: Select “Privacy”

Step 3: Select “Clear browsing data.”

Step 4: Select “beginning of time” from the drop down, and check all of the boxes as seen below then click “CLEAR DATA.”

FireFox on Android

Step 1: Open the app menu that appears as three dots in the upper right hand corner, and select “Settings.”

Step 2: Select “Clear Private Data.”

Step 3: Check all of the boxes as seen below, then click “CLEAR DATA.”
